Into the Dark

As an extension to my street photography work, I love the somewhat etherial atmosphere and mystery of images taken 'after dark'. The compositions take on an almost graphic appearance with dense blacks and bright highlights. People fear the night, but I embrace the evenings, particularly in winter when almost half of all waking hours are spent without sunlight.

The images showcased here are part of a current project which I am taking throughout 2024. This may be published at the end of the year as most of my projects end up in print at some point, either on the wall or in a coffee table book.
