This name is actually my Pictorialist pseudonym!  -  Back in the days of Pictorialism, there was a group calling themselves ’The Brotherhood of the Linked Ring’, a society of photographers who shared a particular vision of the aesthetic over the mechanical roots of photography, in order to elevate it from a purely documentary process to Fine Art.

 

The members of the group took on pseudonyms for their real names to be used during meetings, which were somewhat secretive and mysterious. I’m merely representing myself using this alias when adopting this style of genre.​
